Birchbox CEW Mass Appeal and Prestige Limited Edition Boxes - Review and Unboxing

I have been anxiously awaiting the CEW boxes for a month now. This is a little sad because they were much better last year but I do not really know any better and am loving the box anyways. If you are still interested the Mass ($12) and Prestige ($18) boxes are still available on Plus if you buy them both together its $4 off so $26 total. Also I am not made of money so I was really happy to find out that I had some Birchbox points saved up!

Mass Appeal Limited Edition Box

Cost: $12 (Save $4 if you get both)

I get Nivea sometimes for free from Couponing which is how I first tried them. They ended up being my all time favorite lip balm so I can see why this one is in the box.

Burt’s Bees Ultimate Care Hand Cream 50 g (55% of Full Size) $7.20
I really love getting lotion in boxes. Plus I love travel sizes so I would rather have 5 small tubes than 1 of the full size. So this is great. Michael and I both tried it and felt that it smelled nice without being greasy.

This shadow very pigmented which is a must.

Olay Pro-X Spot Fading Treatment  7 mL (Sample Size) $12.13
This product got pretty bad reviews on so it will be interesting to see if I get better results.

I love lip Pencils and I can defiantly wear this color. YAY

I have a hard time knowing if eye products actually work. This one also had mixed reviews online with a lot of people saying it felt nice but didn’t do anything. I do need a roll on that feels cooling though so that is fine with me.

Final Value: $49.29 which is pretty good considering the box was priced at $12 or $10 if you purchased both boxes. I am really happy with what I got.

AND THEN........No and then!

...Prestige Limited Edition Boxes

Cost: $18 (Save $4 if you get both)

Julep Nail Polish in Mimi 8ml (Full Size) $14
I have been getting SOOO MUCH ORANGE lately so I felt super lucky to get this color. Out of the whole list of choices they were picking from this was my favorite so I am so thankful to get it. Finally!

Living Proof Prime Style Extender 1 fl oz (50% of Full Size) $6
This product got great reviews on and I like that its Parabens,  Sulfates, Synthetic Dyes, Phthalates, GMOs, and Triclosan Free!

LA Fresh Oil-Free Face Cleanser 2 towelettes (20% of full Size) $1
I can never get enough Face wipes. They are great for the car or on a plane. I have a hard time buying them because I hate to be wasteful but these are biodegradable so I can splurge guilt free.

IT Cosmetics Universal Brow Pencil 0.16 g(Full Size) $24
So I found a product that is the same weight at Dermstore but I am not sure if it’s the same travel size. Regardless I am happy with the size because I never use that much of brow products. I really wanted a brow pencil though and was just about to hash out $30 bucks and buy a UD or Trish one and I am so glad I waited. This paid for my whole Birchbox Haul right here.

Julep Essential Cuticle Oil 8.2 ml (Full Size) $18
The oil is a dup for me but I really love it so I don’t mind. I will want more when I am out so I am stowing this away in my Christmas gifts to me pile. I love forgetting about stuff and getting little pressies at the end of the year.

Elizabeth Arden Prevage 5 mL (10% of Full Size) $7.90
This is suppose to help with UV, Ageing, and other environmental stress to your skin. I am excited to try this winner of the CEW.

Final Value:  $70.90 unless I was mistaken on the price of the brow pencil. I am most excited about the eye pencil but all of the items will get some use. This is great for a price of $18 or $14 if you got both. Not to mention that most people had points and got the boxes a little lower than that. These boxes are still available if you are interested.
